Yum, yum, yum!! I love the combination of dark chocolate and cherries! This granola is so delicious! Perfect for when you are craving something sweet! It is great with a splash of milk, over some yogurt, or by the handfuls!!
3 c. oats
1/4 c. dark cocoa powder
1/4 c. cocoa powder
1/4 c. honey
3 tbls. coconut oil
1/2 c. almonds, chopped
1/2 c. dried dark cherries
1/4 c. dark chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Line a cookie/baking sheet with parchment paper.
Combine cocoa powders, honey and coconut oil, microwave for about 30 seconds and stir. In a large bowl stir together oats and almonds. Add the honey mixture and stir to coat.
Pour the mixture onto your baking sheet and spread the granola, pressing lightly down.
Bake the granola for 25-30 minutes (or until you see top of the granola browning). Let cool for 5-10 minutes then add dried cherries and chocolate chips. Let cool completely and store in an airtight container.
